This franchise was one of the earlier expansion teams. They were the second of a two team expansion in the 2012 season. In their first two season the team played their games at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The nickname and logo have not changed but the colors have since moving to Boulder, Colorado in the 2014 season.
