The Sharks franchise were among the original 12 that started in 2010. In 2010 the team was owned by Michael Burmeister and played their games in Chicago, Illinois at Wrigley Field. In 2010 the team was known as the Knights but changed to Crusaders in 2011 before selling the team to Steven Lamb of the United Kingdom.
