The Orlando Dragons are a fictional professional American football team based in the Orlando metropolitan area. The Dragons are a member of the Continental Football Conference (CFC) Caribbean Division in the Continental Football Association (CFA).
The Dragons franchise were among the original 12 that started in 2010. In 2010 the team was owned by Phillip Gooden and played their games at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and were nicknamed the Ft. Lauderdale Fire. After just one season he moved the team to Richmond and changed the name to the Dragons. After one more season the team was sold to current Sacramento Owner Colin Schraeder-Bidwell and he moved the team to sunny Orlando, Florida and kept the name Dragons. ColinSB would eventually sell the team to John Guss in 2014. During the 2020 Offseason, Gordon Gekko purchased the Dragons and Citris Bowl Stadium for 3.4 Billion.
