The Portland Reavers are a fictional professional American football team based in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. The Reavers are a member of the United Football Conference (UFC) Mountain Division in the Continental Football Association(CFA).

In the league's second season (2011) the CFA announced they would add two expansion teams. One of which was the Las Vegas Gold Rush. Ownership would last less than one season as Jeffrey Jubeck would purchase the team mid-season and eventually move the team to his hometown of Portland, Oregon.

Portland – 2012 (8-8) Lost in first round of the playoffs 34-23 to San Francisco.
During the 2012 season, the Reavers were led by QB Terry Stewart (213/346, 2,521-yards, 17-TDs), RB Bobby Morris (230-car, 906-yards, 7-TDs), and WR Andy Amundson, (69-rec, 981-yards, 8-TDs). Portland went 3-5 in the first half of the season, losing a close game at eventual division champs Seattle 20-19. Starting in week nine, the Reavers went on a four game winning streak to pull their record up to a respectable 7-5. Portland then suffered consecutive losses to powerhouses West Texas (12-4) in Amarillo 22-14, and then to eventual Western Conference champion San Francisco (14-2) at home.
Portland bounced back in Week 15 with a hard-fought win at Idaho (17-14), but lost a heartbreaker in the season finale 17-16 in Rip City Stadium to Colorado 17-16.
In the playoffs, the Reavers were seeded fourth, and faced the Hammerheads in the first round of the playoffs. Portland jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter, only to see San Francisco score thirty-one unanswered points going into the fourth quarter. The Reavers closed the gap with a 30-yard FG by PK Stephen Cramer, and a 9-yards pass from Stewart to WR Richard Mullins during a 16-play, 74-yard drive with 6:47 left on the clock to make it 31-23 San Francisco. Unfortunately, the Hammerheads would convert on three consecutive 3rd-down situations, and iced the game with a 37-yard FG with less than a minute remaining. The hero of the game for Portland was LB Matthew Machado, who recorded seven-tackles, recovered a fumble, and picked off two passes, one for a score in the losing effort.
